Game of Crows!
What do you think these two crows are doing?
Yes, they are competing in the strong winds to sit on the small antenna on the house's roof. As you can see it was a dreary, overcast day, but in strong winds the crows come alive and they are fond of challenging each other.
The pictures were taken at a fair distance, as the house is situated at the top of one of the hills that surround our valley.
Let me show you their game!
After about 20 shots, this one seems to have gotten hold on the one spire of the antenna.
Oops, the wind is not giving up!
Oops! Almost lost it!
Boom! We have a winner!
And then they start all over again!
The game continued throughout the day, but I think some of the other crows also took part in the challenge. It was too far to see who's who, but I think these are youngsters perfecting their flying skills. Then again, they might also be adult crows, as they love and come alive in the high winds!
One wonders what the home owner might think if he discovers that his signal is disturbed?
I hope he doesn't go out to buy a new Television set Lol

I like to watch the birds soar on a windy day as if they are playing in the thermals.
