How to handle an authoritarian boss?

It is normal thing for a boss to be authoritative but when he/she is too authoritative, you might not like it. The best way to handle an authoritative boss are

1) Don't take your boss authoritative attitude as a personal thing: always have the mindset that he is doing what he or she is suppose to do and it is your duty to do what your boss authorize. You don't need to get offended by what they say just do what the boss have authorize you to do and put your best is executing it.

2) Let your boss feel he/she is in control at all time and they will in turn trust you to do your work effectively. Most humans like to feel in control and they want to stamp their authority at every opportunity but if you give he/she the due respect, they will in turn respect you too.

3) Understanding: this is very paramount in every kind of relationship, if you need to along with your authoritative boss very well then you have to understand your boss because this will help you to do thing according to your boss biding.

4) Don't gossip about he or she: everybody definitely don't like to hear the negative things people say behind them.

5) Always respect your boss authority and always avoid to do what your boss dislikes.
