WE JUST HARVESTED OUR FIRST YACON EVER!!!
Now to see if we even like it, LOL!
Some friends from YouTube gifted us some Yacon rhizomes to plant this year. We did, and although they did not have the best growing area, they still survived and left us a harvest beneath the soil. This evening we decided to pull them up, and now we are getting ready to try them. Here are a few photos of us separating the tubers, rhizomes and compost material. Soon we plan to release a video of us harvesting and trying them.

I must admit I have never heard of the yacon in the UK.
