Mushrooms anyone? That was the opportunity that the players had last time. Let's see how it worked out for them.
According to @novaatebatman everyone has replied and we are ready to proceed, so here comes the next round.
DAY 6 ROUND 2 RESULTS
OPTION 1 – Leave the mushrooms alone.
The players who chose not to attempt to eat any mushrooms have moved on without even trying to eat..
The Players who chose Option 1 have now progressed to the next round.
OPTION 2 – Use the FIELD GUIDE. If any safe options exist, the FIELD GUIDE will automatically select them for you.
With the help of the field guide, the players chose to eat the tan, wrinkled mushrooms.
Cooking them was highly recommended, so those who could did. Others risked eating them raw. Morels contain small amounts of hydrazine toxins which can be destroyed when cooked, but can make you sick if eaten raw.
This is why it is important to cook these mushrooms first. However, in this game, the ones who ate raw Morels did become sick, but it was not lethal and they still got a meal out of it.
The players who chose Option 2 have now progressed to the next round and need to eat prior to the end of Day 8 in order to avoid starvation.
OPTION 3 – Attempt to eat the tan wrinkly mushrooms.
This effort had the same results as Option 2.
The players who chose Option 3 have now also progressed to the next round and need to eat prior to the end of Day 8 in order to avoid starvation.
OPTION 4 – Attempt to eat the red mushrooms with white spots and stems.
For the sake of this game these mushrooms were Amanita muscaria, the Fly Agaric Mushroom(I edited them to resemble this species.) Here is a little info on this kind of mushroom.
Although classified as poisonous, reports of human deaths resulting from its ingestion are extremely rare. After parboiling—which weakens its toxicity and breaks down the mushroom's psychoactive substances—it is eaten in parts of Europe, Asia, and North America. Amanita muscaria is noted for its hallucinogenic properties, with its main psychoactive constituent being the compound muscimol.

As you can see, death is rarely a result, but in this case, it was. After a crazed and wild hallucination, the players who chose Option 4 died.
Players who chose Option 4 are now dead and can wait until Season 7 to join back in. Thanks for playing.
DAY 7 ROUND 1 SCENARIO
The players are asleep on the ground. It is a little cold this night, but they are fine for the most part. It is just past midnight, and it is basically pitch black out.
Suddenly, they awake with a terror! Something is nearby, very near. Whatever it is, it sounds like it is attempting to sniff them out.
Out of instinct rather than conscious effort, the players stir and attempt to look. Within a split second it looks directly at them, and it is not alone.
Whether it is friendly or not, they can only guess, but they have a split second to make their move.
OPTIONS
OPTION 1 – Stay still and see what happens.
OPTION 2 – Try to shoot these two (for players with guns.)
OPTION 3 – Try to make friends with these two.
OPTION 4 – Have one player begin shooting while the other attempts to run away in the dark. (Please specify who runs and who shoots.)
OPTION 5 – Have one player begin shooting while the other attempts to run away using a flashlight for light. (Please specify who runs and who shoots.)
OPTION 6 - Try to run away in the dark.
OPTION 7 - Try to run away using a flashlight for light.
PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY
All players who have signed up and want to play must reply to this post with 24 hours in order to avoid elimination and continue gameplay. All players must reply to my option comment below, not to this post. I will reply to my own posts with the options each in their own comments, and the players must reply to whichever comment has the option that they wish to choose.
IMPORTANT: The Backup Food Supplies are in one ration portions, which can feed one player and keep them alive for two days. Also, if for some reason you decide to change your choice prior to the 24 hour response time cutofff, please contact @novaatebatman to make sure you are registered under the correct option.

With a meal in us we do not need to eat again until the end of day 8 so that is great news. As for this round we will be choosing option 3. We have 2 pistols with 12 rounds, 2 bottles of gas, 2 flashlights and a field guide.
It's three for us. All dogs are good dogs. And if this is the end for us, at least we will die for our faith in humanity's essential goodness. We have morals. And morels.

I am hoping they are friendly but if not I have one hand on my shotgun.

No point in running in the dark, even with a flashlight, the dog will always catch up.
Shooting them is just an attempt, the dog could easily jump and grab my hand.

We, Team Turner, being of sleepy but sanguine minds, choose Option 3.
In our split second decision making, we notice the owner of the dog is wearing tzitzot and a Sukkot t-shirt. This tells us he is a God-fearing man and is unlikely to sic his big German Shepherd on us without at least some conversation. If we're wrong, at least we're wrong in assuming the best of a man clearly out patrolling and not hunting us. The behavior of the dog was not aggressive but curious and as long as we do not threaten him or his master (or run away, which looks guilty and would make these two much more likely to be suspicious), there's a good chance we can benefit from the interaction. Standing still is unlikely to be of much use since the dog doesn't need to see us to know we're there and the man is unlikely to pass up anything his dog is curious about.
I'll go for Option 3 and if they turn out to be un-friendlies, I can try to shoot them then. I do have my pistol handy and 4 rounds of ammo left. The flashlight is still in my back pocket if I need it, too. Having just eaten my morels raw, I'm in no shape to run and I refuse to play 'possum and end up in someone's cookpot without a fight. Fingers crossed for a survivable outcome...

There has been too much success in being friendly with people this season. I debated back and forth between shooting and waiting to see what happened because sometime soon there will be a massive kill off. So, I am hoping that he cannot see me and thinks that the sound is a wild animal. I will go with option 1 to stay still and wait, but I will for sure have my hand on my pistol to unload just in case.
I'm afraid of shooting him because the dog might bite me. If i run without a flashlight, i may stumble and fall.
