OH YEAH - WE HIT THE JACKPOT TONIGHT!!!
I'm so glad we went out exploring tonight!
After some of our recent adventures and successes in locating wild animals, I decided to head out with my oldest son "Monster Truck" this evening to do some exploring. One particular temporary pond was my destination, and it proved to be a worthwhile trip! Not only were tadpoles in the water, but Salamander Larvae too!! This was so cool to see. Check them out!

Cool catch! Tangential thought: it's odd that the amphibious real-world salamander shares the name with the mythological fire-breathing salamander.
