MY DAUGHTER FOUND A BLACK WIDOW (AGAIN)

She sure helps keep us safe.

I think education is important. Learning things and knowing things can really help you in the long run. When we first came to the Ozarks, I found a venomous Black Widow Spider. These can be dangerous, so I captured it and brought it to my family to show them. I thought it would important for my wife and children to actually see one and become familiar with the species. Not long after that I was carrying a pile of wood. My daughter Red-Pepper quickly notified me that a Black Widow was on the boards, so I put them back on the ground. I'm so glad I had previously educated her on the species.

If we fast forward a few years, that information is still very relevant to our lives. While collecting some rocks with Bugger and me, Red-Pepper found another Black Widow hiding beneath a rock. Not only did this help keep me safe, but also her little brother. Please educate yourself and others about the potential dangers in this world. Here's some photos of that spider. Enjoy!
