I'M COOKING ROCKS

in #free5 years ago

15 years ago, that would have meant something different...

I sure do appreciate living a much more wholesome life these days, when "cooking rocks" actually means cooking literal rocks, rather than being some sort of street slang for wreckreational drug use... (emphasis added.)

Anyway, rocks are one of those amazing free resources that we have available around here, so we like to collect and use them. Soon I plan on using some as a barrier around our wood stove, so I'm heat testing some, hence "cooking rocks." So far so good, but we'll see how they hold up after a cool-down tomorrow.

I did that once with some shale from the mountains. To decorate my aquarium, it was awesome decor for the fish. Your stove is gonna look awesome too, lets hope they hold up! Have Fun!! God Bless 🖤🔥❄

O hell nah, pepper is going breaking bad on us lol

Good preparation. Some of them can explode

They'll turn out nice and crunchy, I'm sure... :)

Never heard of cooking rocks. Looks to be a smart idea though to test how they will hold up.

Sorry I have not kept up with your posts. So much going on with STEEM.

Well, good luck with the rock test. Hope it works well. I went to Basic Training out that way at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri so I know it gets cold! That was my first boot camp, then guess it was not enough so went to Parris Island, South Carolina a year later (warmer there)! 🤣🤣🤣

Have a great week. Blessings and groovy vibes to you and your loved ones.

I want to see the finished stone wall. So get on it, LOL!
