It's time to clean it again.

I've been doing an experiment for the past year on not running any aeration or filtering on our garden pond. I wanted to make sure that if things got really bad and we weren't able to have things like that, we'd still be able to have fish stay alive in the pond. Some of the weeds and algae can get out of control, so I have to periodically clean things up a bit. In these photos I show you how our little pond worked before, and how it looks now.
