ANOTHER SUKKOT SNAKE
Anyone surprised we caught another one?
While we were camping in Missouri for Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles) a young husband and father noticed my activities. At one point, after a game of kickball, he asked if I could take him down to the creek bed and help him find a snake. I asked, "Are you sure you want to head all the way to the creek bed... is it okay if we find one closer?"
The creek bed was just a few hundred yards away, but at the nearby edge of the woods I thought there may be some good hiding places for a serpent. Within the first two minutes I managed to locate one, a young Orange-Striped Ribbon Snake. Needless to say he was impressed, and my task was complete, LOL. Here are some photos. Enjoy!
