A SUCCESSFUL MORNING HUNT

It's good to be back home!

We returned home just in time for modern gun deer hunting season. I went out this morning in search of venison, and praise God I was successful. At around 6:40 am I saw a doe cross my path and quickly dispatched her. Then, I returned to my blind to continue the hunt. About a half hour later a spike buck came out. A second round was fired and a second deer was harvested. This will provide a lot of meat for our family over this coming year. I'll share some other photos later, but here's my pickup crew after they loaded the trailer. Enjoy!
