THE 3C AND 3R.png

Let me take you back to the history of that great nation that gave birth to me. The nation take held a lot of power when no nation had that power. The stories I have heard of this nation before I was even born. A land that values kings. That’s Ghana, my motherland.

Ghana is a great nation. Many things exist here that I didn’t hear of in other nations. Not that Ghana is superior but I think for the standards, we might be above all. There is always a hidden art of any country no one has heard of. of This contest allows me to share that with you and also an opportunity for everyone to read and see what makes my country my beloved. Below are the reasons why I Love Ghana.

Chiefs

Chieftaincy is what I love most. The way my kings and chiefs dress is well heritage. There should always be this one thing that can take you back to where you come from. This is one. How our forefathers were and how they fought for the nation. Through this chieftaincy, we preserve their memory which is important for the nation. In chieftaincy from how power is transferred to the respect they get from the people of the nation, makes me see it as a great thing. Other nations might value their kings. But in Ghana, our honor lies in the reputation of these leaders. That’s where the power of the nation lies. I love it so well.

Ghana Team

The national football team is just great. Is one major thing I like in my life. Is like I grew up with football. The football match of the Ghana national team was my influence on football. The way they come together to hold up the nation’s flag in every tournament is of my heart. They hold my heart because they occupy a greater portion of my heart. I remember in 2010 when Ghana lost to Uruguay. I cried to the extent everyone thought I wasn’t stopping. My heart lies with the team. My love for the Ghana national team is just great.

Ghanaian Food
A man on an empty stomach can’t do anything. And while you eat, make sure you eat what is good for your health. That is why I like Ghanaian food. Ghanaian food is of the local foods which aren’t from any factory. These foods are from farms. No matter which part of the nation you are in, anytime you change a location in Ghana, you enjoy the local foods they have there. It is cheap and the most important part is it’s delicious and also have its health benefit. See how vegetables are great. Here in Ghana, we use to cook our foods and it makes them great, presentable and also good for our health.

Above are things I love about my country Ghana. each nation has what makes sit great. We might vary but we still live in the same world. As each country has ways to go forward and what we like about it, there are things that we wish we change that will take the country to a greater height. Below are things I wish they change in years to come.

Pbreak.png

CORRUPTION
Corruption is taking us back. Many things that should be done to take the ci try forward have caused us more harm than good. We have come along the way that countries we gained independence before they went than us. Not that we don’t have the resources. Remember Ghana was called a gold case just because of its riches. But out of corruption, everyone wants that for themselves and that is taking us back. When Nkrumah wakes up today, he will be disappointed. Because that’s not the Ghana e anticipated. Corruption should find a way out of Ghana in years to come.

GHANA ECONOMY
Secondly, the next thing I will wish to change is the Ghana economy. We have drawbacks in the economy. It is also part of the problem that makes development seem stagnant in Ghana. The economy keeps creeping because there are many drawbacks to the economy. One major problem for the economy is the unstable nature of the dollar to the Ghana cedi.
For the future we dream for the country, we have to take a long drive with the economy to help us achieve it. May the economy change in years to come.

CHANGE IN ATTITUDE IN GHANAIANS

I don’t know how to put this and it wouldn’t be disrespectful. Attitude is a great pillar and a nation’s success. The attitude of the people or followers makes a leader great. The attitude of some Ghanaians needs to be changed. Attitude as everyone is talking about it means a lot to humanity. For a good attitude, you go higher. Your heart shows how you act and it gives you a good taste of life. Ghana will go far and great if we come together to hold it. This can be much easier if we have a great attitude.

The above is my entry for the contest. It comes from my heart. I’m is glad this came. This will be an assessment sheet to evaluate my country for years to come.
Thank you.

Thank you😊

You've Written so well about your country, looks like corruption is the general problem of African countries. Well let's hope for the better

Sure dear

This is a very nice post!

Hi @pandev, I'm from Venezuela and I hope you are very well. Your soccer team has always liked me when it has participated in the world cup, it seems to me that you have very talented players and the food you show looks very delicious. You have already whetted my appetite.

Your country and mine have the same evils, corruption is the monster to beat. Surely mine has immeasurable natural wealth, but the cha has been huge these last 25 years, gasoline is scarce where we swim in oil, water is scarce where we have the third largest river in the world, electricity is scarce and we have the eighth largest hydroelectric plant in the world. It has been falling apart before our eyes. With this I say to you, that the wealth is in its people and not in its natural resources. Education is the basis for prosperity and the corrupt will always destroy it.

So take heart that there is always someone who can be worse off, we must continue to fight for the welfare of our families. Greetings and I send you a big hug.

You have sod it all. That have always been my prayer. I hope we live to see that person who will take us back to that vision Dr. Kwame Nkrumah had.

Uruguay will easily eliminated by Ghana.

I am a fan of football and I am glad you made mention of that in you entry.

You have also remind me of the painful 2010 world cup where the Uruguay national team cause us a painful exit. I believe we will take our revenge on them in the upcoming world cup.
