IKEA HEMNES 6 Drawer Chest
Hello Steemians,
I planned on going hiking but instead I spent most of the day putting together this IKEA dresser that my arrived today!
It came in two huge heavy boxes and some magically arranged in side was about 25 different all wood pieces, hundreds of screws, fasteners, bolts, nuts and a few Allen keys.
!
I Immediately knew it was going to take me much longer than expected so i went made a cup of joe.
I started first with the frame which has screw in bolts as well as wooden pegs that fit in the alternate holes which helped stabilize it.
From there i attached the top and bottom.

Made the drawers, attached the railing for it to slide on, fastened it all up, attached the knobs and we were good to go!
Went and ate dinner and what do you know a finished product!

Hahaha, the good old IKEA set. I can't help but compare them to legos. And we all know what can happen with legos if you don't follow the instruction manual: endless fun! Could you imagine what could happen if you went home with several sets, and the decision to disregard the instructions? Hmmm.... I'm thinking maybe I should do that. What a post that would make!
Just one question: why did you use the tags women, and introduceyourself, and even steem and steemit for this post?
Probably would have been better to use appropriate tags but i was even more of a noob when i posted this than i am today, slowly starting to get it hahaha. But yes just like a lego set... my girlfriend just brought home a box and said have fun lol

Suggestion: Steemit is best in a community! Find one that has similar interests, and become active. I found one about blogging in general https://steemitbc.slack.com/messages/C5R79G9EC/ and one about homesteading https://steemithomesteaders.slack.com/messages/C6AE0QGLC/ . They both communicate on slack, but there are other good ones hidden all over. I always keep my eyes peeled for other good ones, but in these ones you can actually participate in meaningful exchange, and they appreciate your posts (if they are good ones).
