This rhyme is for a few friends who have recently been feeling a little down and blue. I think we all feel this way at times, and need a pick me up from friends around us to make our days a little better! Hope this helps anyone feeling this way…
FRIENDS
If you ever feel down
Your mouth drooping, with a frown
You know, who you can rely on
The right shoulders, to lean on
All your friends will be there
You know they all care
There’s no need to despair
In this worldly affair
Don’t be shy to appear
To show your exterior
There’s no need to fear
Our positions are clear
Rid your mind of the crap
And all the claptrap
Dust it off, move on
Call it a wrap
Get up tomorrow
A new purpose to follow
Start a new day
Think of good thoughts
Forget all the rorts
Make hey, with cohorts
We are your friends
You know we’re all proud
You’re the best thing in town
We present you that crown
As always, have a great day and PEACE
Friend and foe
tellin their woes
Never do they know
The poets taking notes.
He can spin the story round
Then his friends won't feel so down
Friendships firmly bound
By the awesome rhyming clown.
