It is an activity that can open an eternal discussion regarding the benefits and cons that it brings. To be neutral, I will focus on the fact that any activity developed with the corresponding standards and controls is worthy of betting on the development of the society, economy and structure of a nation.
Particularly in my territory, this activity has brought a lot of infrastructure and work to society.
We can also be critical about the residual effects that may end up in the future, but, in the end, activities that leave an environmental impact are carried out all over the world.
The photo shows one of the largest equipment used by this industry to transport the exploited material.
On this occasion my intention is to show you from within some images that someone who does not work in this industry could not see.
I have been taking some pictures that I will share with you, there are some that take them out at night.
The following photo shows the driver's cabin, all automated and with GPS

These trucks can accelerate up to 50 km / hs and have a load capacity of 250 tons.
The activity they basically develop is to transfer the material to mills that crush the stones turning the heavy material into ground material
The units are automatic and everything is controlled remotely by control personnel

In winter in the Cordillera de los Andes, temperatures drop to -40 °. It really is very cold, to the point that everything freezes.
