Alaska Natives from the Gwich'in Nation have been fighting oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) for decades.
ANWR is a critical habitat for polar bears, as well as the calving grounds of the porcupine caribou herd, which the Gwich'in people depend upon for survival.
