My almost Sour Dough Loaf

As I mentioned in my post "Sour Dough Start Day 5" This is the dough I made from the removed starter.


Unfortunately, after 2 hours the dough had still not risen, so I had to add some instant yeast. I then also fell asleep so the bread was a little over done... Yet, it's still really tasting, just a bit to much crisp.


Here you can see the dough after shaping, going on it's last resting period

After resting for 30 minutes you can see the size difference, the dough was a bit lose though hence the flattening out

Little peak on the inside, you can see the thickness of the crust that tells you its been over done, but still yummy so I'll take it!!!

We want to eat our bread and not look at it - as long as it's yummy, it's a success!
