Word Poetry Challenge #20 : Ocean
Reckoning
The trick is to allow yourself to be buffeted.
I learned this the hard way once upon a time
when I had no choice.
The choice is to be perceptive
when the undertow snags your kith and kin
and you all begin to swim.
The truth is rooted in an ocean of fantasy
cascading, colliding, justifying logic.
