I lived in two post-communist countries over the span of a year and got to know the results of such an ideology. The biggest anti-communists arise from such cultures, because they've seen the suffering and tyranny firsthand.
Meanwhile, some of the biggest sympathizers to communism in my own circles? An upper middle-class guy filled with thoughts of forced utopia, with a veneer of Christianity over him. I couldn't stomach such a fool... a raging hypocrite if ever there was one!
