Everything surely comes to an End
I went with a cousin to see how work was going in the renovation of her dad's house. Her dad died a couple of years ago and the house, left unoccupied for sometime needs renovation. With her siblings, they decided to renovate the house so that people can rent it and they can generate income from it instead of allowing it decay.
Growing up and attending a primary school close to this my cousin's house, we always visit her house during the lunch break or during closing hours. At the right hand side of the house was a massive-luxury house at that time. We use to visit the house to watch television set. We also did everything possible to be friends with the children of the house each time they came for holidays-but never did it work.
But today, when i saw the remains of a once 'massively, welcoming' home, i said to myself nothing really last forever. I remembered those times and how entering that house was like the fulfillment of a dream but today what remains of the same house is not even a beauty to behold
But i have again learnt something! The things we hold so precious today may just turn into a ruin tomorrow. We need to be grateful, for we do not know the tomorrow reference of our beauty today.
It is with Love!

That is how life is. The way God created it to be is what we are witnessing. Everything we possess in this world can never last. The clothes, shoes, materials things, properties can't last. The only thing that can last are with God in Heaven that is why we need to lay our treasures in Heaven not on earth. Great post i admired this afternoon.
Thanks for this great comment. This is infact life! And you gave a very great biblical view of laying our treasures in heaven because at the end nothing on earth will last.
Thank you for sharing this thought @femseen
Life is a journey. Infact, we are in a market place. Nothing in this World lasts forever. Referring to the past at times is good. Nice Post.
We should live life to the fullest but not taking things too precious because they will depreciate with time
