Loving the first photograph, well done.

thanks @blueorgy, it's one of my all time favourites and just a couple of miles out from where I was born !

Three greta shots love the drama of the first and power of the second while the third is very calming

Thanks @tattoodjay.. one of my most memorable sailing views and only a few miles from where I was born and raised.. This windfarm is also one of the biggest in the world ! and they are quite incredible close up !

The wind farm close up must be such an impressive view

There are a lot back in NZ but mostly on hills and farm land

sailing through the windfarm and getting (as close as you are allowed) is quite something. These are really big turbines, I mean REALLY BIG and what's weird is they don't make a sound. When you get up close and you see the scale of them it's quite something, knowing that fishing boats are not allowed to trawl the area and the huge posts act like an artificial reef system for small fish (and that it's powering North Wales with clean green energy ! it's even more amazing.

Wow that sounds incredible
And such a great way to produce energy more contrast need to embrace this

Wow, that first picture is very powerful! Great shot!

Thanks @eveuncovered. It's one of my favourite places in the whole world. They call it the washing machine because the prevailing winds and currents cross each other making for quite a bumpy ride.. In fact here's what it looks like from the other side of the deck !

me in the front taking the shot still smiling after 10 hours out ( sea madness setting in) thankfully it's only an hour or 2 from here before we're safely back in port.

Sounds dangerous! Thanks for sharing something behind the scenes, that is always interesting! :)

Love that Sea Wall!

thanks @brumest.. I'd been to this wall a few times and been amazed by the way the waves lap up way high over the side of the wall with a deep bass thump.. so I took my lumix at high tide, which was just at the end of the day, got wet and soggy for my troubles but did come away with this ! (and this just shortly before)

Another awesome shot. I guess you found your own "great wall" :D

I'm going back there in a couple of weeks so let's hope there is a high tide again at the right time of day.. I must consult the tide tables book
