Me in a nutshell; I try to spend as much time on a board as possible. Its a bit of a spiritual process for me, hence the play on words with The Lords Prayer. When I am on a board whether it be surfing, kiting, or just skating around town,.. I feel closer to GOD.
I have some other interests too.
Travel, nature, photography, yoga, music, growing food, and art.
I work as an Emergency department RN and kitesurfing instructor in a small coastal town in North Carolina.
I am an active member in the Surfrider foundation, a non profit group dedicated to preservation of coastal areas

I have lived in houses, apartments, tents, a van, sailboats, and piles of sticks and leaves.

In fact, something a lot of people don't know about me is that I used to live in a hut in the woods and practice primitive skills like fire-by-friction and animal tracking.

One of my major goals in life is to stay curious and never "grow up".

Very cool, I love the Ocean and grew up in Australian where I would swim most mornings before a quick shower on the beach and off to work.
I find being in the ocean meditative... floating as the swells rock you. And then scuba diving is like being in outer space, a different world floating in the midst of all these other creatures home. I love how you just underwater, no other sounds than your own breathing and fish come right up and look you in the eye, saying "Wow you're a big weird fish" 😉

I'm planning on it. The only fairly consistent break on Florida's east coast is Sebastian Inlet. We might head up there in a few weeks. In the mean time, I'm going to try and surf the 1-2 footers. Time to breakout the longboard! ;-)
