"To keep you from the bad woman, from the soft tongue of the strange woman. Do not covet her beauty in your heart, nor does she pledge you with her eyes"

The young man should not let the beauty of that woman ignite his passion. We have just read in Proverbs 4:23, On everything you keep, keep your heart, for life flows from it. Let us observe that the young man is warned about his compliments, his beauty, and the blinking of his eyes. The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 5:27 and 28: 27 »You heard that it was said:" You shall not commit adultery. " 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to covet her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. All sinful thinking begins in the human heart. Let's continue reading verse 26 of Proverbs 6:
"Because the harlot only pretends from the man a bite of bread, but the adulteress seeks the life of the man."
How many lives have been ruined in this way! We would be surprised to know the number of people willing to get involved in these situations and the number of people who are being subjected to blackmail because of having practiced illicit sex. And how does such a situation begin to prepare? The Lord said that the process begins in the heart and knew what he said because He created us and therefore knows us perfectly. The advice is Do not covet its beauty in your heart. That's where the attraction and greed begins.
