Daily Celestial Challenge Monday - Darkness, the evil twin

In today's daily celestial challenge initiated by @sirknight I am going to be talking about darkness, the evil twin

Darkness as we all know her, born as she was, is twin to her ever perfect sister, light. When they were born, people were always attracted to her other half. they were always filled with awe and wonder at Light's presence but people always were scared of Darkness, her presence brought about mishap and Chaos and fear. But she was just being her, an equal beauty, she regarded herself in comparison to light, but why didn't people like her? she wondered. When ever she tried to play with them, they all ran away or were afraid of her

Whenever she came out to play, something bad always happened and Light always blamed it on her, saying she was a monster, but Darkness never felt that way even though she was always sad at Light's remarks.
The people eventually came up with a solution to the problem between the twins.
you see, they loved the light and so always wanted to play with her, therefore they made a time table and gave them equal hours and called her day and then they looked for a scary name to depict darkness and called her night.
In their own judgement, they felt they were fair to the twins, and for a while darkness was happy.
But then again, these people started creating little lights to play with, even at night.

Light had shared her secrets with the people and they were more than happy to have some in their homes, breaking the sacred bond that they had made with Darkness.
Eventually, Darkness gave in to her evil nature, she lost her way and stopped trying to look for the people's favour because it was obvious that she was never going to get it and now she hunts the night and frightens the little kids and shelters the people that are regarded as evil, for only they truly loved her and saw the beauty in her

and she regarded them as kin and friend.
There is however one thing that both Darkness and Light knew which they swore to keep away from the people, as it threatened their very existence and that is...that
There can be no one (Light or Dark) without the other. For indeed, they are truly just the two sides of a coin
