A Sudden Plan 🎂...

It's usual to be disappointed when something we expect doesn't turn out to happen as we want it. According to my experience, it's always better when things happen suddenly. that means when it comes to little little things, unplanned sudden plans go smoothly rather than planned things. Btw, it's important to make our mentality to face whatever comes in front of us.

So here I'm gonna share something unplanned which happened yesterday. It was the birthday of a teacher, to who we go to classes on Mondays. There were only 4 friends, including me, had come to school from 12 of our class gang. After school finished there was a sudden idea to bring a cake to the class though the teacher's birthday was on Saturday.

I also had some money, so said okay to the idea. There's this shop called 'The Grand'infront of the Chilaw - Colombo main road in Wennappuwa town where we can buy a cake. We decided to go there to buy the cake, but a problem remained. We hadn't a knife, also as it is the teacher's birthday we couldn't give a ruler to cut it.

We went to the school's home science room. but we knew that teacher is so strict with the children. So we left that idea. Then we headed to the canteen. That aunty who does school canteen is so friendly, so we told the whole story and asked for a knife or something else matches to cut the cake. Aunty was afraid to give us a knife.

We were arguing with the aunty about why she should have trust in us and give us a knife. That's when a sir came passing by the canteen. Aunty called the sir and we had to explain the thing to sir without telling him exact details haha.😁Unexpectedly he was nice to us and told us to find a knife from a friend's home. Finally, we assumed that the cake shop will provide something to cut it when we buy a cake.

We left the school without any idea and 4 of us headed to the cake shop as we planned. There were two 'akkala' in that shop and they were also so nice to us. The lowest price of a cake was 3400LKR. We had no other option and selected a chocolate-flavored cake.

Then one of our friends started to point out the things those were there on the shelves of the shop and asked like 'Can u give this to cut the cake?' , 'Can't you give that plastic spoon?' likewise. Finally, that Akka said ok to give us a cake-cutting knife. we promised to hand it over the next day. She was sooooo nice and we were thankful.

We paid the bill, said thank you for the 100th time, and returned to the bus stop. We had to go by two buses and what challenging was to bring the cake without any harm. Everything went well and the teacher was also delighted. More than anything it was fun and a good experience for us as we hadn't done anything like that before. I like that whole new experience.😛
