Ave, endemic to Venezuela and Colombia. Its natural habitat are subtropical zones, areas with shrubs and tropical dry. It is an endemic bird the high guajira and the arid zone of Venezuela (Falcon).

¿Some interesting information about this species Mr. Pipim?

In Zulia state there are several clandestine areas where the bird is sold as if it were a domestic species, this becomes illegal traffic of animals, because the species is wild. Do not contribute to the illegal purchase of animals.

¿How I differentiate a domestic species from a wild Mr. Pipim?

The domestics are those that over the years have been suitable to live with man such is the case of dogs, cats, Australian birds, some parrots among others. Wild species are those with total dependence on the resources of the environment and can not survive under the anthropogenic hand (man.
