Why is there rebellion in some young people?

The wise son receives the advice of the father; but the mocker does not listen to reprimands.

The wise Solomon said that "the wise son receives the advice of the father". Wise children are disciplined, obedient children and always ready to receive the advice of their parents. The wise son quickly obeys and obeys all the advice or instructions ordered by his parents. These obedient children are the most successful in life, they are children who prosper in everything they undertake.

Wise children seek the good company of their friends, they stay away from all those youth gangs that cause social scandals. They are young people away from drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and everything that goes against their health and morals.

All parents like to have this type of obedient children, however, the reality that is experienced in some homes, especially Christians, is that there are rebellious children who seek to contradict their parents, they are children who are always involved in problems with community or at school and high school.

Solomon said that "mocking children" do not listen to their parents' reprimands. These children are the ones who generally end up joining street gangs and in constant criminal situations in which they are subjected to prisons or jails.

Solomon lived all these experiences and he leaves us this teaching so that parents can arm ourselves with the thought of God and achieve, with the wise help of the Holy Spirit, that our young children come to the path of the eternal God.

We must pray for our rebellious children and not leave them in the hands of those who do evil.
