THE APPROACH TO THE OBJECTIVE IS SUCCESS
Source
What do people think about success?
In a conversation with some people, they believe that success consists in earning a lot of money, living comfortably and withdrawing without problems.
Others dream of becoming experts in some activity, earning money and achieving the admiration of others as important and wise beings.
There are others who see success as the accumulation of material goods, without incurring debts. Having a home of your own, driving a luxury car, being able to enter a store and buy whatever you want ... that's a success.
There are those who equate success with having a happy family: a loving wife or husband and obedient children.
We all have the dream of achieving success.
The Bible says:
Put your delight on the Lord and He will give you the requests of your heart (Psalm 37: 4).
It is a great wonderful promise. Apparently, the problem is that this rarely happens. I mean, if it happened frequently, many would enjoy health, fortune and wisdom, because that's what we want, right?
Why, then, do we not succeed, if our heart desires it?
Do we have a wrong idea of success? Perhaps we have not understood the conditions God sets for success?
The only condition that God really gives us is "put your complacency on the Lord." In other words, put God first. Jesus Christ said the same thing when he urged his disciples:
But first seek his kingdom and his justice, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
The problem is not the lack of objectives, but having the wrong objectives.
This brief message of reflection leads us to our goals must be completely aligned with the will of God and let Him take absolute control of our dreams to achieve the desire of our heart.
@oscar20, our success depends on God because we focus on Jesus who is the author of all joy, peace and success.
