Thankful to God for my family
There are many things for which I am grateful to God and one of those many special things is my family.
God commands us that we must honor our parents and nothing better than honoring them is when we express love and much respect.
The Lord tells us in his word:
Honor your father and your mother, which is the first commandment with promise; so that it goes well for you, and that you live long on earth. Ephesians 6: 2-4 King James Version (KJV)
Honoring our parents implies that we should love them, respect them, avoid causing them pain, and be grateful for all the love they have given us.
My parents are simply very loving with me, therefore I thank God for the immense love that my parents have for me and for the care they have had with me.
If I have to be careful about something, it is to obey my parents, since the Lord says that it is a promise that guarantees us length of days on earth.
Obeying our parents' advice will help us avoid painful experiences in the future. Parents are people who have acquired a lot of knowledge throughout life. They have had both positive and negative experiences. When they advise us they are telling us that they have already lived what we children are about to live and if we take the advice we will gain a lot of advantage when it comes to living our experiences.
My family is made up of four members: my father, my mother, my older brother and myself.
We strive to do things well for God and so that there is harmony and a lot of coexistence in the home.
There are many reasons why I can thank God, but today in particular, my gratitude is for my family, for the support and love they have given me.
Thank you to the HeartChurch community for giving me the opportunity to share my message with all of you.
The peace and grace of God be with all.
