what I always wanted to tell my boss
Stick Your Full and Spiffing Job, Mister Big
Dear Mister Big,
I have some news, which I think you will find spiky.
Over the last three years, I have found working for Nerds R Us both full and spiffing.
It's fair to say that my PA is bumpy and the secretaries are ample, but this has not stopped me from finding the work full.
I have really enjoyed collapsing with my PA and stealing ugly pens from colleague's desk. But all good things must come to an end.
As time has passed, I've found that my dreams of becoming a rock star have become increasingly frequent. Last week I took the plunge and bought myself a pair of scissors. I dream of getting up in the morning and snuggling, something that my current job fails to nurture. Now all I need is a kettle and I'm almost there.
Thus I must resign from my job as a lawyer, to pursue my true calling as a rock star.
In your role as my superior, you have been the picture of humility, which is why I leave with a spiky heart.
Best of luck with your continued pursuit of hell on earth.
Yours sincerely
