Journey to Nowhere

I Slammed the door rushing, too late for work
Dark clouds covers the earth, where is the silver lining?
My heart pounded heavily with the burdens I carry
Out of direction, losing control
A weeping soul, Mortal body hauled

Stuck in the traffic
My mind wanders, the chatter remind me of all the blunders
Did I lock the door and pocket my keys?
Would I cross the same disaster and beg on my knees?
Did I mess up again not taking the risk?

The pearl shape sweat form as my brow creased
Am I over thinking? Would you tell me please
I worry about the stain in my white dress
I worry about what will happen tomorrow
I worry If I'll get sick, can I endure the pain and sorrow?

The cycle goes on and on and on
My worries ate me alive and haunt me all day long
I lived up my days listening to this toxic lies
I no longer chase colorful butterflies
Whimper from the black hole is all I can hear at night

My body shivers and weak
Alas! No more worries I'll be forever in bliss
My days are numbered
Bitterness succumbed my reality
Am I at the place I dreamed to be?
Did I truly lived
Or Wasted my life thinking what ifs?

I am inspired to compose this poem on this gloomy day.
I am a happy person but I don't know why I always come up with an emotional piece
It's the other side of me.
We get old and we don't have all the time in the world
I hope you'll get inspired to live your life to the fullest
We don't want to wake up one day wanting to do the things we want to accomplish but no more time left for us.
Its never too late! Write your own bucket list!
You hold your own canvas. Make sure you paint something beautiful.
It may have dark colors but eventually it will complement the lighter shades.
Trust yourself. It will turn out to be a magnificent masterpiece:)
