I don't know about you but whenever I have to wait for some appointment, I try to create in that time. So yesterday I took my wife Ausra to the dentist office and I had some nice time for myself in the hall.

I was planning to draw comics in advance. Before I left the house I put some 8 colors of my oil pastel in a plastic bag so that my tools be ready and waiting for me to use them.

The theme for Artstorm contest was "Igloo" and Ausra had already drawn her version of Pinky and Spiky comics with Spiky, Dietrich and Cornelius asking Pinky for permission to live in an igloo. Betsy wanted to live with Pinky and Victor... You know Victor. He is grumpy most of the time because he doesn't get enough flies in the winter.

So my idea was to continue Ausra's story and to draw Spiky, Dietrich, and Cornelius already in the igloo. Through the hole Pinky is giving Spiky the tray with some tea and worms. Spiky is saying that they will keep him warm.

Then I started to draw the ice brick and didn't leave much space for Cornelius and Dietrich. But just above the date I squeezed half of Dietrich and Cornelius without legs. They say that tea and worms will keep them warm too.

I thought of using cold colors - blue, violet, a bit of grey for the ice. But around Pinky there is some space to color the outside. So I made it bright yellow as a contrast.
