Happy Monday!
It is very rare to hear people exchange compliments and say happy Monday. People say words like happy weekend, happy Sunday but happy Monday is not common.
One of the responsible reasons might be because Monday is seen as a very serious day. The day when everybody has to be on his or her toes and excercise work tendencies.
On Monday is not much fun as people roll up the sleeves to get down to work. In my local dialect, Monday is regarded as day of sales, so no laziness is expected or tolerated.
I like to say happy Monday because I want you to enjoy your day and have fun with your job. No matter what you do for a living enjoy it and have fun. Life is beautiful when you handle it with levity
