Good morning beautiful people. Hope we all are doing fine and keeping safe. I'm back with another interesting part of our study from the book of Genesis. We are presently on Chapter 7. Yesterday was about how Noah, his household and animals went into the ark in twos and how God shut the ark door. Now we will be looking into what happened after.

7:17-18 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
Low and behold, the water, the rain, the flood thag God promised to wipe away everything on the face of the earth at that time finally came to pass. Even nowafays that sometimes, rain fall for a full day, we know how the earth is, how muddy the ground is, how water fills up some areas that people won't even be able to walk through. Not to talk of rain of 2 days, 3 days, 1 week, 3 weeks, 1 whole month. Forty good days and night, the rain fell. It had no choice than to wipe people out as Gid intended.
7:19-20 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
You see, forty days rain cannot just remain on the surface of the ground, imagine hiw high it covered. This was God's intention so that no man will escape except those in the ark. If God says He will do something, it will surely come to pass. I pray for us again that may we not be victims of evil circumstances in God's sight in Jesus name. Verses 21 to 24 which is the last verse talks about how all flesh died. Every living creature that moved upon the earth; fowl,cattle,beast,creeping things, even birds flying and every man all died.
But guess what, Noah and his people, everyone and creature already locked in the ark remained alive and the water was still on earth for a hundred and fifty days. Thats like hundred and ten days after the forty days that the rain poured. Well thats how the earth was wioed at that time excluding Noah and his people. May God always exclude us from every evil coming around us in Jesus name. Amen.
