INSTRUCTION AND SUBMISSION

in HeartChurch4 years ago

Good day beautiful family. I hope you all are doing awesome today. I say happy weekend to everyone. Yesterday, we considered how God favoured Noah, a man whom He tagged just and perfect. God wanted to destroy the earth and then confided in his friend Noah. We will be looking into what God did to destroy the earth and how he spared his friend, ofcourse we don't expect Him to destroy his friend with the masses.

6:14-16 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

Wow, see distint instructions that God gave. Noah didn't need to be a carpenter to get what God wants and how He wants it. God talked about doors, windows, rooms, and so on, this to me made me realize how caring and understanding God is. He knew what He had in mind and gave Noah specifics on what the ark should look like. I pray today that may God give us exact directions on how to go about our own lives perfectly in Jesus name. Now what did God do?

6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

Ooopsss... Flood! This is a terrible thing to wipe out human from the face of the earth. We know how things are nowadays when there seems to be a lot of rain, we know how difficult it is for some to even pass through with just legs, talkless of the flood covering their whole body till they die of the water. Hnnnm. Now what happened to Noah?

6:18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee. And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female. Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.

You see, what a wonderful God. He couldn't watch His own friend being destroyed by the flood and then God spared him, not inly him, but also with his family. Thats the favour one gets from God when walking closely with Him. Now some living things had to still be alive to avoid the recreation from the time of Adam. What do you think they will be eating during the time of the flood?

6:21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them. Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

This reminds me of a song in my dialect which says God has good plans for our lives and will never leave us to go go hungry or thirsty or naked because we are His. This is what happened here as God instructed them to pack all the food they can into the ark and everything they needed so that they will not be stranded and Noah was very submissive. He did all what God instucted word for word. May our God not leave us stranded in Jesus name.

Thanks so much for reading...
