ART CONTEST # 10. UNDERWATER: The Jellyfish and the Diver
Here's my entry to @agneslaczo's ART CONTEST # 10. UNDERWATER.
I'm glad she kept the contest going and I hope it all works out!
I drew a jellyfish, then I decided it would be fun if it was a giant jellyfish. So, to show how giant it was, I wanted to add a diver. When I looked up images to use as a guide, I found old-fashioned diving bell drawings and decided to use that.
The coloring doesn't look as good as in my imagination - I guess I don't have good marker technique - but it's colorful! Anyone who has helpful hints about using markers is welcome to drop them in the comments. I used the ones that have kind of like a paintbrush tip, but I don't know how to avoid having the lines show. Is there some magic technique? Thanksç

Oh, that makes my heart so happy :-) Thank you! I was talking to my aunt today and she said I gave her the art bug - she has a painting in mind for her kitchen. I don't know what I was doing with my spare time a month or so ago, but it couldn't have been much fun! I'm no genius, but I'm having a great time! And it is wonderful that people here are so kind, inspiring and encouraging. Cheers!
