Hello Steemians, Steemit Team, content Creators & Consumers, Investors and Trader. It's about Time we look into the Development of Steemit Blockchain in this Cyber World/ Space as it's is Our valuable asset in this planet of Technology. As the Crypto Space expands and every segment seek to initiate transition at very fastest pace we the steemit Team needs to be on Our toes to bring more innovations for impact. The current ranked of Steem blockchain at the 40th position in terms of market capitalization means that we have to do more stuff to bring massive impact. I don't think Our number & population as at 2016 keep stagnant. I believe with the current population of 1,238,717 the number has increased by now with a lot of Planktons or Newbies as names are common in Steem to refer to Newcomers in Steemit blocks.
This actually not depicting the general statistics populations of users in Steemit Inc, but it gives the picture of growth trends in Steemit blocks and the need to bring more New users to fill the gaps. I will start by commending @steemitblog, @steemcurator01 for the good initiatives to recruit New members into Steem blockchain, despite the fact that Steemians were singing up New members into Steem before the onset of this project, but this initiative surpasses all. Instituting measures like Steem Greeters, the Diary game the 3R's ( Recruitment, Retention & Reward) by Country Representatives, have really helped to speedy up the Newcomers joining Steem. We can really count the number of Countries which are helping effectively recruiting these Newcomers into Steem blockchain: Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Venezuela, Ghana, Uganda, USA, Cameroon, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Argentina, Indonesia, Pakistan, Philippine, Italy, France, Brazil, Nepal, New Zealand, Estonia, Chile, Dominican republic, Zimbabwe
How is Record kept on these Newcomers?
Thanks to the Team of Steem Greet in The Steem Proof Of Dedication (POD) work. Our Leader @cryptokannon is very awesome doing great job for Steemit blockchain doing tremendous work, reporting daily and weekly on Newcomers and their tasks to achieve here in Steem. From June 2020 till now, updates on the number of Newcomers has been given out. Now #303 Newcomers have joined Steem, of #242 are still active posting their contents. Below elaborate the Newcomers Statistics in Steem.

This number of Newcomers addition up to the already registered number of 1,238,717 confirmed in 2019 Steemit population, would be around 1,239,020. Actually this figure might increase since this #303 of New users were received from June to August 2020. Though there might be some users who might have left from Steven, likewise, other might have also reactivated themselves in Steem again. As some become "Dead fish, there are also some Red fish wanting to swim and know more stuff in Steem." So, that is how the trend has been, of course, New members fill up the gaps that have left by the dormant and inactives. But, comparatively, more Newcomers are joining in than those who will likely to leave the Steem blockchain. From the onset of New modalities and initiative powered by @steemitblog(The Diary game Hub) incentivise Newcomers more. Much attention are given to their work than before. Community has now been created, with power delegation the Team mining these Newcomers, monitoring their work and urging them on. Now, they are supported and graduated till they reach "Minnow level, which is 500SP. Compare to the formal, when they are minded by individuals basis only, there were no planned of Team of POD taking care of their contents, given them tutorials of how they should know or do, commenting and encouraging them. Now they are given full attention and incentivized.
How relevant, the impact of keep Steemit statistics
I think this is one appropriate way we should look into. Though an updates of our our number as active users, dormant and dead fish is not far fetched, yet we need to find more easy way these statistics would be available for us. So that even it should be at the finger tips of those active users and also help the Newcomers to know more. Generally, we will know the growth level of steem, and best we can add more members into steem. If that 1,238,717 registered users in steem is for last year, and we have climbed up to 1,239,020, so it means on average we are adding 303 New users per every quarter. We have already spent 1st and 2nd quarter which will end in September. So we anticipate to have approximately #303 in our last quarter which ends at December 2020. That will also add the number up to 1,239,323. This statistics can get reach of our lovely Steemians periodically by @steemitblog updates and we would know more on our strength and weaknesses so as to improve. The impact of promoting through "Recruitment and Retention has become our Hallmark." There are more lovely and amazing ways we can adopt to get our families, friends and love ones on board of Steem blockchain. I would consider it to be the best ever achievement if there will be 5000 active users daily at any point of time in a span of 100 days. The 5000 daily active users(same users or different users, that is irreverent), but we need consistency for at least 100 days to 1000 days, then we are the winner and that will seriously impact the fundamentals and dynamics in a positive way.
