The Diary Game : 07/12/2020 - At The Polling Station Casting My Vote

Hello Steemians today is special day for all citizens of Ghana to go to the poll. Elections are conducted every four years by Electoral Commission of Ghana for Ghanaians for choose their President. Every Four years it take place in 7th December. Today is such day we are casting our votes.

In the morning I was so relaxed since I decided not to go to the polling station very early. I was doing more stuff at home; interacting more with my mobile phone, guiding my children to learn. I found some food to eat. In the afternoon, I allowed my wife to go and cast her vote first since we aren't voting at the same polling station.

Around 2:15 pm, I also set off to go and cast my vote at Nsuta presby primary school just closed to my area where I stay. I didn't forget taken my nose mask since I wouldn't be allowed to cast my vote if I don't have nose mask. When I got there there wasn't any long queue since the were two groups of EC officials serving the Voters. I was allowed to wash my hands well, followed to the first table check my name at the name reference list personnel. I was verified through the verification machine. I dipped my finger in the indelible ink showing that I can now vote and if voted I can't vote again. I went to the next table received the ballot paper for Presidentials. I then went to the ballot scene to cast my vote. I folded it nicely and making sure no stain affect it. I dipped it into the ballot box.

I went to collect ballot paper for the Parliamentary, went to the ballot scene to cast that one too. I folded it again correctly and dipped it into the ballot box for the parliamentary. I left the scene to stand at some place to chat with friends here. I spent about 15 mins to see what was going on.

I decided to observe in town how other polling centres are happening. Shortly, the weather was very dark likely to rain. The rain started drizzling. I entered soccer bet room to protect myself from rain and to also watch some match so that after the rain I will go.

After the rain it was about 4:45 pm. I came to the place polling station to observe what was going on. Over here, it was so cool, no dispute was raised. Soldiers and fire service men were present monitoring all what was going on. I stood here for a while and left for the house.

I came to the house when it was very late . The darkness has approached. I could not snap pics again. I had to wait for my supper.
