The Diary Game: 04/7/2021 - My Sunday, How It Went!

Today is Sunday, yet we have lectures. When I woke up, it was still raining, the weather was cloudy. The rain was still drizzling and this made me late to reach campus around 7:30 am. The attendance was even poor, due to the prolong rainfall. It seemed most parts of Ghana experienced this rainfall. Lectures delayed a little and most classes were vacant.

Sadly some incidence happened last night when thieves looted some belongings of A printer and photocopier owner. This shop is behind the campus. I was going to make photocopies with my course mate and found this situation. I was shocked how this incidence happened. The owner explained to us that his worker did not close the back door well. It was left unlocked and this thieves might have secretly been monitoring them. The thieves took their computers, printers and many things worth millions of Ghanaian cedis. The shop owner said he would close the shop since he can't work there due to the things he has lost them. He couldn't even print our documents for us.

After the first lectures, I had 30mins break this enable me to find my way to Obaa Yaa Steem bar to take my breakfast with rice ball & groundnut soup with chicken & fish. Everything cost 10ghc which is about 4.5Steem only. The food was so palatable. I then went to Mword Printing press to make my photocopies. It was Sunday so the place wasn't busy compare to week days. I was fortunate to have my documents printed before the electrical power went off.

I went back to campus to continue my lectures. We were having science lectures. We closed from lectures around 3:30 pm since the Personnel Management lecturer couldn't come.

I arrived home when it was 4:12pm. My wife had finished cooking when I arrived. I then enjoyed it and guided my kids to complete their home work.

I watched television after wards and took my bath ready to sleep.

I was happy that my day was successful.
