THE DIARY/ BETTER LIFE WITH STEEM : 23/12/2020 - Making Great Fun With My Steemit T-shirt When Shopping

Today I decided to go out with my Stermit T-shirt when I went to Mampong to shop with my young boy, Darkwa Jude. In fact when Christmas approach we make a lot of spending. Not a long a go that I bought some sandals in Kumasi. I again bought materials to be sewed, and they are now with Tailor/Seamstress which would soon be furnish. I wouldn't want them to lack clothes & sandals to wear so I want each of them having at least 2 each. The Girls, Adubea Wilfreda has had her clothes and sandal each 2. It is left with Darkwa's one shirt and a trouser to buy. That brought us to Mampong.

I the morning I was a little bit slow in the house this was to make things done before leaving my wife and the baby. I finished everything around 9 am. I came to the road side with Darkwah to pick a taxi to Mampong. Well, today is Wednesday and it's market day at Mampong. I decided to come this day since it would be last day before Christmas so a lot of items would be brought, meanwhile I was gonna by items from boutique not one table top. Yeah, I felt very proud wearing my Steemit T-shirt today. Since it's exceptional and one in town. I would want to get more attention to lots of people around and they might be wondering which company or association do I join. At 10:35 am, we were at Mampong. Since the road wasn't busy, though Christmas makes it little busy we got there early.

I don't know much famous boutique here, but could remember during somewhere 2012 I used to buy some items at simple store boutique, which is one of the renowned area at Mampong.

In those days they they used to sell adult wear not for kids, I don't know of today. I decided to more through town self. So I led the taxi driver alight us at Mampong main station, where we have Ajura, Kofiase, Boanim, Agona, Jamasi, Wiamoase, Bosofour, Kamasi, Nsuta and Dadease station. Due to the crowd I had to pick Darkwah hang him on my chest.

Behind the station, just close to Otuasekan Rural Bank, we had nice boutique that the shop keeper sells kids items for both boys and girls. In Maame Afia, as the name of shop keeper has nice collection of sandals, shirts, trousers, dress for girls, toy guns, Teddy, spectacles, wrist watches, cosmetics, hair dressing items and other makeups. But I just went there purposely for buying my boy shirt and trousers.

There were many of the collections here that I didn't know what to choose from. Maame Afia brought 3 different sizes and colors. Out of these I must select one I prefer. One is bigger and the other one was smaller in size which I thought it would tight Darkwa within few days. So I selected the medium one which has bold tie, belt and jacket. The trousers is blue-black and the shirt is white with some black spot in it. The jacket on it is a light green, has blue marks and light white that has lovely looking. The price on it was 110ghc which in Dollar will be around $18.7 This was a fixed price but I had to beg her to reduce the price since it was too costly. I bargained with Maame Afia, but since she was there as shop keeper, she called the owner who was by then not around. I requested to give him 80ghc, but she finally agreed on 90ghc which I think it was cool price.

Darkwa requested for me to buy toy gun in addition to the shirt and trouser. I asked the price of the toy gun and it was cool as 10ghc. I bought for him. I couldn't buy for Darkwa and leave Adubea, so I had to buy one toy baby too for her. This also cost 15ghc. So in all I spent 115ghc for the the items I purchased today. In the Dollar rate it would amount to $19.55.

We then left for house when it was around 3:15 pm. When we came, Darkwa quickly removed the items I bought for them and gave Adubea own to her. They were so excited to see their Christmas gift. Darkwa began to shoot his gun and was so happy to see the flashing light coming from side by side. I was also happy to have accomplished most of my responsibility as a father. I thank God for the strength and money given me.

Though I haven't finish purchasing my Christmas items, I think this is the beginning, watch out while I bring you more. I am so happy to launch my Steemit T-shirt too. It's a lot of fun.
