Journey into Crypto - Entry three - The beginning

Where did it all begin?

About 2 years 4 months ago I had never even heard of bitcoin. At the time I was currently off work due to injury. I had a lot of free time on my hands. I remember one night I was surfing around the internet and I came across a site or a link or something that had the word Bitcoin. So I clicked on it and hastily read through it. I remember thinking wow this sounds really cool. Well me being me I quickly did a search for this bitcoin miner thing that came up in the article. On our local kijiji web search(Like a Craig's list) I found a guy who was selling one. So long story short I bought it. Guy came over set it up for me. Setup a Mycelium wallet for me and the way I went mining some bitcoin. In a nutshell that is how I was first exposed to the entire crypto scene. From there I learned more and more and found out about other alt coins and ways to make or lose bitcoin. PONZI, scams, etc. I don't want to get into that now. For another time :)

I will delve further into the "Beginning" more next time. Until then
