'Two' - an artist collaboration with @debart

I have recently been given the opportunity to collaborate with an amazing artist on Steemit, Daniel Eugene Botha -@debart. He has just joined the site and you really should check out his blog, it is amazing! Even though we live in very different parts of the world, he is based in South Africa and I am currently in the UK, the power of Steemit has allowed us to collaborate with ease.
Starting our collaborative work
We started off our collaboration with a bit of image swapping, I sent @debart some of my work and he sent me a selection of his. For my first piece to develop I selected this portrait by @debart.
LOVE. I love collabs that happen here on Steemit. Your addition has made the piece have the dichotomy of self, the yin and yang, the male and female, and I really like that. The bold colour is inviting as well. Well done the pair of you.
That is a good explanation - part of the reason for adapting the original portrait rather than drawing a woman from scratch was about the creating that relationship between the two.
And it worked so well :)

These things are what makes steemit the best social network, the human quality of people and the communion that exists between them, it is admirable to see how two artists from different sectors of the world with different cultures can amalgamate their arts and create this work together (creative and beautiful) congratulations for both artists. @debart - @opheliafu
