'Skyline' 2017

I have developed this image from an old photograph, it was a portrait of three people and a dog. I have edited the image to remove the figures, cropping the image and reinstating the frame of the picture. The white lines represent the contours of the skyline changing over time. The orange lines runs parallel to the power cables that can faintly be seen.

It is an image about time, change and loss. The speed at which the landscaped transforms whilst other points appear to stay fixed. The process of ageing, and the building and the fragmentation of memories.

Excellent work lady @opheliafu, creativity has no limits, congratulations
Happy Easter to you and all your loved ones

Happy Easter! 🌞

I love your creativity! All of my art supplies are packed and ready to be moved to my new house. I feel like I'm in Hurry Up and Wait mode. It's driving me crazy.

Oh no! Why not draw on the packing boxes? You could draw the contents of each box- it will make unpacking more fun! 😊

I agree with @jlufer :)

He's a good man to agree with!

I totally agree :)

I really like this!

Thank you @natureofbeing. Are you busy in the studio?

I'm pretty consistent in the studio and my busy season is ramping up now. I'll have another studio post later this week.

Although I do not understand much of art however through the explanation gives me an idea of what it means.
Thank you!

Thank you @site. It can be tricky to know how much information to share about a piece of work as it can influence a viewer's perspective of the work.

When I first looked at it, along with the title, I thought the top white line was indicating skyscraper buildings... Then I read it. :) I'm not quite awake yet. lol

Ahh, but the white line is the evolving skyline- maybe in the future it will be skyscrapers! Whatever you chosse to take form it is correct. Artwork can be like a mirror.

Great work ophelia! :-)

Thank you- I see you, @hansikhouse and @hitheryon have been upto interesting things too!
