My biscuit travels
My biscuit hunt through the Brittany region of France continued. You may have seen in my post Art and biscuits in Pont-Aven that I had visited the Traou Mad de Pont-Aven biscuit shop, and also visited l'Atelier de la Galette shop In Pont-Aven.
This time I was on my way to Patisseries Gourmandes in Saint-Tugdual, France. They do the most divine buttery biscuits, you have probably guessed already that this isn't my fist visit!
They have a beautiful range of biscuits in tins, such bright colours and beautiful designs. I picked up plenty of tins to take home as gifts, and of course a few to eat too!
Then there was the selection of cakes. Yum, yum! There was a variety of Madeleines, and cakes filled with strawberry, apricot or apple jams. So many traditional style Breton cakes and biscuits to choose from in the shop.
The first thing I did when I got back was to open up a packet of biscuits and have a nice cup of coffee.

Biscuits are my weakness!! I do not get good buttery biscuits in my location. The way you have described the shop, biscuits and cakes, I feel like flying to France right now. The last picture of the biscuits and coffee cup is just too enticing. Thanks for bringing this gem to us. Upvoted.

Some of the pictures on the tins are absolutely beautiful and I really loved the look of Traou Mad de Pont-Aven biscuit shop from the outside, the architecture is so lovely. :D
Now I'm craving a cookie and a cup of tea. :D
