I am the chairman of the board
I use drawing boards all the time, they provide a sturdy surface to rest my drawing paper on, especially when I'm working outside. I also have a habit of trying out colours and doodling on them. The longer I use a board the more interesting the surface of it gets, like a piece of artwork in its own right.
So this is just one of my drawing boards, it's the perfect surface for a good doodle!

I love doodles, I think you should frame the board, or at least frame photos from pieces of it. Might be cheaper. And save wall space, since you will probably keep doodling, filling more and more boards ( :
I did an Easter post awhile back utilizing a friend's doodles I 'borrowed', I think the variability within peoples scribbles are fascinating. And maybe telling, of SOMETHING. Thanks for sharing your board and inspirational dabbles.
So many great ideas! Even though the doodles are done at separate times whilst i'm working on different art pieces, you can see how the previous doodles influence the new ones.
It's like your own personal pictograph wall. I doodle shapes that usually end up as animals or people. I know I'm wrapped up in my thinking when I can't get the eyes and mouth in a simple happy face, lol. It happens!
Doodling is a great activity to do, it helps with the thinking process.
I don't know what I would do without doodling. It's one reason I never moved to taking notes on a tablet or laptop when I am at work meetings. A doodle on a device is not the same!

Hahaha... I ruined many technical drawing boards with doodles while in high school. None was any good though

I doodle stars and trees, but I don't know why lol.
I get the tree doodling thing, I find it relaxing.
