Hong Kong Baby!!!
I've just made a fantastic discovery! I was looking through one of my old suitcases that I had stashed under the bed, when I found my Hong Kong sketchbook. This sketchbook is tiny (10 x 14 cm), but the perfect size for putting in my handbag with a travel set of watercolours. Being so small it's easy to see why I had forgotten about it. I have posted a little bit about my Hong Kong travels before in 'My Hong Kong Buddha painting', that painting is a large mixed media piece.
Let's have a look through this tiny sketchbook!
Hong Kong is an amazing place, I want to go back again someday as I have so much to still explore of that amazing island.

Always interesting to see a sketched/simplified view of a vibrant location. More please!
I have a couple more travel sketches I may share.
Fab find, Hong Kong looks fabulous, hope you get your dream to travel back there
I imagine we will go back one day!
I'm not bot, I'm just fast and vote from my heart.
You are super fast, you're like Neo reading the Matrix!
I have a bot in case I miss a post when I have no internet access :D
You are both on my list too
Cool, @smailer is just super quick!
Hong Kong Baby!
Yeah Baby!
That is simply amazing! And what a great treasure to find! I'd say it's better than finding a $20 in an old coat pocket!
Definitely!
What a great find, I love looking through people's sketchbooks, so this is a real treat.
Thanks @phoenixmaid , it brings back memories of when I made them.
I wish I were better at keeping a sketchbook! This is definitely a place where I could grow. Love seeing sketchbook images!
A small sketchbook is a great place to start as it can go with you anywhere. I've been sat in a jeep going across the Sahara drawing in my sketchbook- a little bumpy!
My birth-place , Its really amazing , you should go again as it seems to get better by the day
It has changed at such a fast pace. I love Hong Kong!
OH my gosh @opheliafu! What a great journal and capture of the sites. I am certain you inspire many by your talents and the consistant stream of joy that flows through you and your art. Thank you for sharing your inner self.
Thanks @everlove , sketchbooks (and journals?) are personal things, so it can be a bit scary sharing them with others. They are not finished pieces of art and have many imperfections, but they do capture that moment of life that you are immersed in.
