WEDPOETRY (2): SILENCE, A VIOLENT SCREAM

In a vacuum
In a room
where there were no air to breath
nor a sound to lift
When ghosts were chanting
and my ribs panting
All I heard was silence
with all sounds in absence
I was scared of his next line of action
the lion came closer with no roaring sign of passion
Strange? Yes, but gave me discomfort
To know I was a second away to his comfort
The fear that's temporary? Violence
The fear that's permanent? Silence
The more noisy, the more the wary
The more quite, the more scary
Cos silence is a violent scream!

Scolding makes them know you ain't gonna do a thing. Keeping mute gets them worried. They'll spend the night trying to fathom your intentions and next line of action...
