OPEN LETTER TO NEW STEEMIANS
Hello newbies,
How are you guys and how do you see steemit? I hope you're not thinking about quitting or giving up on steemit. Sun weeks ago when I joined this platform I was just like most of you guys confused and discouraged or disappointed with the number of votes and comments I was getting on my posts.
I felt bad. I opted to give up. But on considering the fact that there was no other social media or job that could offer me what my colleagues and friends were getting from this platform I still found reason to fight
So I told myself that I would dream big but start small. Cause when I made a post I had a very little hope of making money so that will not feel discouraged when I was not able to make as much as I expected. I started with having the aim of making $0.01. This I'll only be celebrating big time when I make more.
Once I got $0.01, I had a new target of making $0.10 and then $1 etc. This has been my way till now.
With this, I always had a reason to celebrate. Knowing quite well that I can't make $1000 on a post over night. Thus I celebrate my little successes as they come while studying and reading up ways to earn more on steemit.
So instead of misjudging yourself feeling so bad that you can't earn as high as you imagined thus loosing faith in yourself, you better try my method

True ooo start small and dream big
I just started writing on Steemit a few days ago. I've made 3 posts so far. My first one made over $7.00. Last time I checked my other two have made a penny each lol. Oh well. I use google adsense on my personal blog and I'll probably make more writing here in a month than I will using adsense in a year. :)
