IF IT'S ALL ROSY, IT'S DANGEROUS

"Odighi uzo agatara kpa ego di nfe" which means there is no shortcut to wealth , my mum will always say. Being a teenager, I didn't get it.

Just after my high school days, when the outer world and the chase for admission repositioned my life, I began to get how difficult life is.

During my high school days, I expected life will just be so easy and work out as planned. I had wished to be a star in music business where my dream life is and as well a medical doctor by profession.

But it hasn't been easy. Tho some of my plans has worked out, I still had to put in some crazy work to pull that through.

My mum will say "owuru na odizi, iche si na m ga di otua?" meaning "if it was that easy, do you think things would have been at it is"

She'll always say, "if sand is money, I would have trained my kids in the best of schools, but even if it was, do you think I would had met it? Those who came before me would have dug them all"

Funny but true. Feel not so bad when external forces or unforseen circumstances disrupts your plans. You knew it wasn't gonna be easy.

Live a joyful life. Don't wait for a reason to smile.

When you fail, knock off the dust and rise again.

If its all rosy, its dangerous...
