Introduction

Exposing the social space to the amazing wonders of various open source projects is a passion derived from actually moderating them as a utopian moderator.

Steemgigs is an open source project that got it's concept from a project fiverr as described by the developer. Steemgigs aims at creating a community of steemians who can offer their services which could include writing, graphic designing, web development etc to other steemians in need of those services. This project started with just users creating a post with details of services they are willing to offer and projecting that post by using the steemgig hashtag. This project went beyond that perspective as it was quite an enormous work sifting through thousands of posts of users who used the steemgigs hashtag, this issue gave the rise of the creation of the website "steemgigs.org" which is open source and built on the steem blockchain meaning steem is the currency of this platform.
This project already has a lot of buzz, but it's still needed to be promoted so other users especially on steemit, and even new users can join and be a part of this unique platform.

Audience

As I've always done with steemit related platforms I ensured my target audience was similar to that of my previous promotion of steemit.
Age range = 13-65+

Gender= male and female

Location= Nigeria

Activity

For this campaign to effectively get to my intended target audience, I made a post on my facebook page and talked about the steemgigs project and it's benefits. I also created a direct link to the website. This campaign was then subjected to ads manager for effective reachability as fast and efficient as possible.

Results

From the campaign I reached over 6,000 people, had 121 engagements including some post clicks.
