Introduction

Getting busy in a busy environment and getting rewarded for being busy is amazing. Busy.org provides a way for users to share articles of their day-to-day busy activities and reward their efforts either by the fast growing number of people in the community or from their busy account.

MY WORK AS AN INFLUENCER

Being a utopian moderator kindled the passion for bringing visibility towards an underrated open source projects.
I'm enthusiastic about promoting open source projects especially projects that are linked to steemit by the steem blockchain. Busy.org happens to be one of such projects.

WHY I'M HELPING BUSY.ORG GO VIRAL

I've been active on steemit for over 6months now and in that space I've enjoyed my social media interactions. Busy.org emerged as a platform with the concept almost as similar as steemit, and I bought in the concept and have since enjoyed its benefits.
I'm promoting this project busy.org especially in Africa because Africans are very active people on social media. Virtually all social media platforms contains at least a single African that is active. By promoting busy.org I'm creating an awareness of the platform that they can perform same social activities and maximize their time on social space with the hope of being rewarded by it. This promotion will also lead to the explain and growth of the busy platform. As it is often said, the more the merrier.

Audience

I'm keen on reaching out to the whole of Africa about busy.org but great accomplishments can start in small packs. I decided for this first promotion of the busy platform, Nigeria is my major interest though, boasting of the largest population in Africa with over 150 million citizens.

Activity

This is my first campaign created for promoting busy.org.
To reach out to my targeted audience, I made a post on my facebook page introducing the busy concept and all it entails. The post contained links that will lead the people reached by the promotion directly to the signup page on busy.org. This facebook post was boosted with some amount of money to serve as a catalyst to reach out to people quickly.

Result

From the campaign carried out to create an awareness of busy.org in Nigeria, I reached a total of persons and this was achieved with 1 boost using the ads manager

RESULTS FROM THE BOOST

With the boost I was able to reach over 8,000 people and I had over 90 engagements and 16 post clicks.

AGE RANGE AND GENDER DISTRIBUTION

From the stats in the picture above, it shows that people between the age range 18-24 years were more keen about busy.org.
Also men had higher reachability value in almost all age range. The highest number of reach was with the age range 25-34 years.
This shows that more men are likely to join the busy platform than women in Africa.

Every successful project depends on the backing of community and although the busy platform is already a large community having more people joining will only take the project/platform levels further. This promotion will also eradicate laxity and redundancy from Africans, it will also give a hig rise in self development because the more they get involved, the more they want to become more and do better. With this promotion I expect a large influx of Africans, Nigerians especially in this platform.
